Final Reflection
1) The best moments from going through these assignments I would have to say were the people I got into contact with. This course forced me to go out and talk to people of ranking status for some organizations I would never have contacted without the requirement of interviews. I took an old family friend to lunch at Mi Apa for one interview and we got into talking about his stories training doctors in Africa and we both ended up smiling and laughing a lot. This class being an online class was pretty disappointing I would have to say. Many of the assignments seemed more like busy work and even though I did put my best effort forward on alot of the assignments, some of them just seemed too repetitive to really gain much from them. 2) The most formative experience was talking with Cindy Nelly at the beginning of the semester about her own experiences working with refugees in Turkey.
